Born and raised in Hockley Village, Ontario, Michael moved to the Hanover area when he was 12yrs old Michael attended both JDSS and Grey Highlands Secondary Schools, where he met Kendra and found his passion for arts and sciences. Michael followed Kendra to Waterloo where she attended University, and he became a CNC machinist. A few years later, they married and had two children - son Aydon and daughter Mikalynn. After 8yrs in Kitchener/Waterloo, Michael endured and struggled with anxiety and depression through most of his 20's and into his 30's, when the decision was made to move 'home' Any type of art had been put on the back burner from his late teens until his 40's, until one night he sat to paint with his daughter. After posting the piece on Facebook for fun, the response fueled another painting, and another".. Michael commends painting for helping him mend and shares his favorite quote, "The best use of imagination is creativity, the worst use of imagination is anxiety" -Deepak Chopra-
